‘Stone and Lichen’

‘Stone and Lichen’ is a painting celebrating two of my favourite natural objects. Apart from the acrylic and pastel, I used tea, bleach, water, wax and sand on this piece, scraping and hosing it back until I found the textures I wanted. This painting needs good natural light to shine. It is finished in satin varnish to protect the surface and is painted on unframed, stretched canvas. It is signed, dated and ready to hang, dimensions are 50cm wide x 41cm height.
